Mission Statement

The Rainbow Beacon is a collection of creators who shine spotlights on 2SLGBTQIA+ folks who need it most.

History

In 2025, The Rainbow Beacon was created by MoTheScorpio (they/them) as a way to further help the queer community. After hosting two raid trains for Point of Pride in June 2024 & June 2025, Mo had the feeling they could be doing more. Mo hopes this organization will be a way to help more 2SLGBTQIA+ streamers through mutual aid in addition to charity-streaming.

The Setup

We have a new fundraising focus every quarter of the year. Splitting the year into four parts allows us to focus on various things throughout the year including mutual aid and charity streaming. Our leadership roles will also be fluent, allowing different creators to try new things more often! Team members are only required to participate in one out of the four fundraisers each year. Anyone is welcome to fundraise with us, even if they are not official team members. The Discord is open to whoever would like to be more involved with what we do!Q1 -> January, February, March

FAQs

Do I have to be an official team member to fundraise with The Rainbow Beacon?

Nope! Anyone is encouraged to join our Discord and fundraise alongside us for our events.

So, are you a stream team or something else?

Kind of both? While we're technically an unofficial stream team, we would like to work with more creators than those just officially in our organization. For example, we're working on a podcast to interview 2SLGBTQIA+ members on various topics, and the guests will not have to be official team members.

What are the benefits for becoming an official member?
