Mission Statement
The Rainbow Beacon is an organization shining spotlights on 2SLGBTQIA+ folks who need it most.
History
In 2025, The Rainbow Beacon was created by MoTheScorpio (they/them) as a way to further help the queer community. After hosting two raid trains for Point of Pride in June 2024 & June 2025, Mo had the feeling they could be doing more. Mo hopes this organization will be a way to help more 2SLGBTQIA+ folks through mutual aid and charity fundraising.
How Volunteering Works
Anyone is open to reach out and express their interest in volunteering to plan or fundraise with us. You can do so by joining our Discord community and opening a ticket with Mo! We also have other volunteer roles available such as community moderators, sitters for raid trains, and tech assistance for the community.Leadership roles are fluent, meaning anyone can come and go as they please between each year's events! For example, someone may be interested in planning smaller-scale fundraisers but prefers to sit out on larger-scale events.

Fundraisers
Support 2SLGBTQIA+ mutual aid and charity fundraisers by joining, sharing, or donating to the events listed below!
Our first event is a Mutual Aid Raid Train benefiting two 2SLGBTQIA+ recipients! Currently, sign-ups are open here!
The donation link will be posted in February.
We'll be hosting our second Mutual Aid Raid Train in April! Final dates and sign-ups will be posted in early March.
For the entire month of June, the third Point of Pride Raid Train will be returning through a series of weekends and pop-up events! More information will be posted in April.
